The Process
First, you should disclose any dental work you have like bridges, caps, or other details that might affect the materials used. These teeth will fit very tightly, so it's not recommended to fit them over crowns or bridges. Fillings do not usually affect the process. A color is chosen to match the color of your teeth.

Next, a dental impression will be taken using a common dental-grade algenate. More than one impression may be necessary in some cases. If you have never had a dental impression taken before, it's not considered pleasant. It is necessary to remain motionless over a basin or sink. If you have long hair, you should have it tied back. Tounge piercings should be removed if possible.

Then two molds will be cast while you wait. One of these castings will be used in the sculpting process. The other you will use to help your fangs maintain their shape when not being worn.

Fangs are then sculpted and a series of molding and casting yields a set of acrylic fangs matched to the color of your own teeth. At the final fitting, adjustments will be made for the fit, closure, and visual balance. These are then buffed and polished to simulate tooth enamel.

Payment

Payment in full is expected at the first appointment. Cash is required for appointments, check or money orders are best for mail order. A receipt will be generated which you should bring to the second appointment to claim your fangs.

A very slight looseness is part of the process and is necessary if the wearer ever wants to take the teeth out. At the very least, you are guaranteed a good fit. That is, the teeth will not come out during normal speaking. It is nearly impossible to remove the fangs without using both hands.

Light repairs are usually done for free - just make an appointment and describe the damage. Heavy repairs should be shown to the artist to estimate the cost. Sometimes it's less expensive to make a new pair rather than try to fix smashed teeth that will probably never fit right anyway.

Any set can be duplicated for 50% off. Just remember to tell the artist before the impressions are taken.

The Materials
The materials used are common in the denture-manufacturing industry and in orthodontistry; however, the artist is not licensed for dental-care work. The appliances created are intended for cosmetic purposes only and should not be used as medical devices.

Those who are allergic to any of the following materials should avoid unnecessary exposure.

Ingredients & Materials Used
Acrylic resin, methyl methacrylate, latex (gloves), nail polish, algenate (gypsum and silica gel), water, standard toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, dental wax, and high-compression strength dental stone.

Safety Information
We recommend using the molding and casting process instead of the rapid method due to the solvents and heat used to produce the fangs.

Allergic reactions can happen without warning. The only medical service provided is 911 emergency. While it is highly unlikely that you will have an allergic reaction to any of the materials used, it is possible. While allergies to dentures and latex gloves are rare, they have been scientifically confirmed.

You can be arrested for some behavior while wearing these teeth. Whether you are wearing a costume or brushing graveyard dirt out of your hair, if you bite someone, you have battered them and most young vampires don't have the strength or the speed to evade the human authorities.  Even if you threaten to bite someone who is immune to your glamour, the teeth can be considered a weapon and the threat is assault.

You can choke on teeth that get knocked out or swallowed while sleeping or swooning from a fresh blood meal. Take them out before going to sleep or drinking (too much) alcohol.  Please bite responsibly.

For some reason, pets think acrylic teeth are chew toys. If they can get to your teeth, they will.

Excessive wearing of any cosmetic dental appliance can cause contact erosion which can lead to cavities. Wear fangs to have fun, but show your human face whenever you can.

Acrylic is softened by, and fangs could be ruined by acetone. When cleaning fangs, be sure to use a non-acetone fingernail polish remover.

Do not wear broken sets of fangs. They are easy to choke on and if they are damaged further, repairs may not be possible.
